Practice description

Duygu Turgut focuses her practice on national and cross-border mergers and acquisitions using stock, asset and merger structures, joint ventures and privatizations. She advises on buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions transactions, both in initial acquisitions and subsequent investment exits. Her mergers and acquisitions experience also includes advising clients on privatizations and general corporate matters, and assisting them in the coordination and implementation of multi-jurisdictional restructuring transactions. She has worked in various industries including healthcare, energy, infrastructure, real estate, retail and insurance. In 2012, she was seconded to the Private Equity Practice Group in Baker & McKenzie’s London office.

Duygu Turgut joined Esin Attorney Partnership in 2006 which became a member firm of Baker & McKenzie International, a Swiss Verein, in 2011.

During her internship with the Istanbul Bar Association, Duygu Turgut was one of three trainees accepted in the association’s exchange program, and interned at Knolle Societaet, Offenbach am Main for three months in 2004.
