About Günel İsmayilbayli
Günel’s distinguished legal journey began at Baku State University Faculty of Law, followed by an LL.M. in International Law from the Illinois Institute of Technology – Chicago-Kent College of Law. She launched her professional career at the American Bar Association (ABA ROLI), where she served as both an attorney and program director, spearheading international projects and advising multinational clients.
With deep expertise in commercial law, corporate law and civil law, Günel has successfully represented clients in sophisticated matters. Her experience spans multiple sectors—from energy to healthcare—supporting companies with corporate structuring, company formations, and dispute resolution.

Günel’s appointment marks a strategic milestone for Esin, reinforcing our commitment to serving clients in and from Azerbaijan. With her profound understanding of Azerbaijan’s legal landscape and dynamics, Günel will deliver direct, efficient, and tailored legal support—bridging local insight with international standards.
Günel is fluent in Azerbaijani, Russian, English and Turkish.
