Recent Developments

Pursuant to the press release dated 17 March 2026 and numbered 2026‑13 of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (the “Press Release”), significant new functional features have been introduced to the open banking infrastructure. With the launch of version 2.0.0 of the Data Sharing Services in the Field of Payment (the “DSSP”), developed by the Interbank Card Center, comprehensive enhancements have been implemented across open banking services. You can access the Press Release here.

What Are the Novelties?

Under the new release, the scope of open banking services has been expanded beyond account information services, with significant enhancements aimed at enabling users to manage their financial transactions more easily and securely.
In this context, the inclusion of card data alongside account information provides users with a more holistic financial view. In addition, users are now able to initiate forward‑dated and recurring payment orders through open banking channels, bringing subscription, rent, utility and other recurring payments within the scope of open banking.
